4Great for double snap and goJun 03, 2011
By Melissa
The shades on my twins car seats are not big enough to protect them from the elements when I take them out using our double snap and go. Putting a receiving blanket over each seat helped, but the blankets always slipped out of place and if the wind picked up they came completely off. I couldn't find an affordable option that they wouldn't grow out of so I decided to give the sun sheet a try. I ordered 2 since I didn't think one would fit over both seats and I tried them out today. They are great. The material is very light weight and soft. They fit nicely over the length of each car seat with a little room to spare. It would be nice if they had another tie down on the side of the sheet as today was a very windy and sunny day and the side kept whipping up exposing my newborn sons delicate skin. I can try to pull it tighter to solve that problem next time. The velcro on the tie down isn't the strongest. It held up in the gusty wind though I can see how over time it may wear out and not hold as well. Other than that it's a great product. I am extremely pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone having trouble finding a suitable sun shade for their stroller or car seat.

5Great for strollersAug 21, 2010
By SoCal parents
Attaches perfectly to the stroller for covering our 4-month old's legs at Disneyland. I use this in combination with a RayShade on our Maclaren triumph. I also used the velcro ties on my clothing while nursing, to use as a cover up. Very lightweight.

5Love the Solaroo Protection BlanketFeb 20, 2010
By T. Schubert "Mom of 2"
Love this product!!!!! We purchased the Solaroo Protection Blanket for a vacation where the sun couldn't be avoided. We wanted to make sure our baby girl had that added sun protection in her stroller while walking from place to place. This definitely did the job and you can't beat the price! We were pleasantly surprised the blanket was also big enough to use on our double stroller to protect our infant and toddler's legs from sun exposure. The blanket is so light weight we didn't have to worry about overheating. It also blocked out bright light so napping in the stroller was more comfortable. Our favorite thing about this blanket is the Velcro loops in each corner. We had a few windy days and the blanket stayed in place. It worked great for nursing and took up little room in the diaper bag.

5Great for carseatsJan 07, 2012

I am using these in the Chicco Keyfit 30 carseats and they work just fine. I'm still not sure how to use the velcro ties but regardless, it seems to serve the purpose well.

5Great for use with carriersSep 30, 2011

We live in sunny California and go out for walks daily. Our son only liked to be in his carrier for about the first 3 months of his life, so in order to protect his little legs, feet, and hands from the sun, we ordered this blanket. We were out and about all the time and he never got any sun thanks to this blanket. Especially for the first 6 months before it is recommended to use sunscreen on babies, this blanket was really helpful in shading our baby from the sun. The velcro on each corner make the blanket versatile - you can hook it around your neck to cover a baby in a front or back carrier or you can attach it to the straps of a carrier to serve the same purpose. I've also velcroed the other corners around my waste to further protect baby from the sun, particularly when it's windy.

I would highly highly recommend this sun protective blanket to anyone. Very light weight (doesn't make you hot - even in the middle of summer), and in a pinch, it can even double as a diaper changing pad or nursing cover.
